Being children of God comes with certain rights

Like angels beside you in all your worldly fights

To call upon the King of Kings, during times of great despair

For strength and peace and comfort, and to know that He is there

Still we make poor choices and struggle with our sin

Repent and ask forgiveness then continue on again

As a godly person, Evil pursues us day and night

Sword of the Truth we are given to aid us in this fight

As children of the Father we know victory is assured

His son died on the cross for us, our future is secured

All Christians stand together prepared to do our part

Lift your voice in worship, together and as one

Evil is among us, a mighty battle has begun

Filled with His holy spirit, our mission is clearly known

Our purpose is to fight for Him, who sits upon the throne

Glory to the Father, who reigns supreme from above

We the chosen people, spreading your message of love

To drive them from this sacred ground, to restore His cornerstone

Battling the determined demons whose master refused to yield

The war of good and evil, although it's far from done

Today this battle's over and rejoicing has begun

The enemy's been defeated, where they fled is not known

Victory's been claimed for Him, who sits upon the throne
